Last week, Sunevap overseas team conducted an in-depth site inspection and complex exchange at our flagship Mine Water Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) project in South Africa. The land leveling work at the project site has been efficiently completed, marking the official transition of this highly anticipated environmental project from the planning phase fully into the substantive civil construction stage, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of core equipment.

This inspection was a critical step to ensure the project's high-standard execution. Our engineering team visited the site, engaged in close coordination with the project management and construction teams, reviewed the site preparation status in detail, and focused on in-depth deployment of the next phase's foundation construction and installation plan for the MVR evaporator. As the core component for achieving ZLD, the successful integration of the MVR evaporator is a decisive factor for the project's success.

Core Technology: MVR Evaporator Enables ZLD and Resource Recovery

Addressing the characteristics of the mine water, specifically its high salinity and complex composition, Sunevap provided a customized ZLD solution centered around the MVR Evaporator. This technology, known for its high energy efficiency, significantly reduces system energy consumption by mechanically re-compressing secondary steam to recover heat. In this project, the MVR evaporator is responsible for evaporating and crystallizing the concentrated mine water, ultimately achieving Zero Liquid Discharge and crucially separating dissolved impurities into mixed salts.

This process not only completely eliminates the potential environmental harm from mine water discharge but also enables water resource recycling (producing reusable condensate) and the resource treatment of solid waste (mixed salt separation). This brings significant environmental and economic benefits to the mine operator, perfectly aligning with the development philosophy of green mining.

Project Outlook and Strategic Significance

During the inspection, Sunevap's Overseas Project Manager stated: "The successful completion of the site leveling work is an encouraging start. It paves the way for the installation of the project's core – the MVR evaporator. We are pleased with the current project progress and are confident in the application of our advanced MVR technology to solve complex water treatment challenges at the South African mine site. We are committed to making this project a replicable benchmark, demonstrating our strength in the ZLD sector to the global market."

With the comprehensive commencement of civil engineering works, the core MVR evaporator unit is expected to be delivered and installed in the next phase. The successful implementation of this project will significantly enhance Sunevap's brand influence in overseas markets, particularly within the mining sector, and provide a mature and reliable technical model for global high-difficulty wastewater treatment.
